people in the region and even outside the territory of Majapahit wanted
to marry the princess.
This situation made the king confused, as king he should be fair and
should not be favoritism to youth who wants to prupose marriage the
princess. For that, he held a contest. The competition was open to all
people and not just limited to the nobility. Essentially anyone who is
able to lift two Gong (a type of Javanese musical instrument which way
to ring it sounded way) it will serve as king Brawijaya law. Two gong
was a government-owned heritage and famous Majapahit miracle. One such
name is 'gong Kyai Sekar Delima'. None of the young man who tried to
contest it and managed to lift the gong Kyai Sekar Delima. Until the
time limit, and the contest will be closed comes the young man said
could move two gongs heritage and hopes to join the competition king.
The king, duke and many peoples in contest surprised by the presence of
the young man. The young man who has a stout body and a tangible head of
'OX' named Lembu Suro . The king invited Lembu Suro to try to lift the

belonging to the royal heritage of Majapahit. The whole cheering
applause for the success of Lembu Suro.
But unlike the case with the Princess,Dyah ayu pusporini. She cried and
complained to the assistant that she does not want to have a husband
like Lembu Suro.
A time, after the contest princess asistant give advice to Kanjeng
Dyah Ayu Pusporini to challenge back the Lembu Suro to make a 'well' in
the top of the mountain kelud before he became her husband in overnight.
Something that they think is impossible to do by Lembu Suro. And hope
Lembu Suro fail, so do not be married to the princess dyah ayu.
Lembu Suro agreed that the princess request. Finally, to follow the
desire of the princess, Brawijaya king, duke, warriors, the princess and
lembu suro together to the summit Kelud to make 'wells'. Unexpectedly,

job, princess cried and complained to the king that he does not want to
have a husband like Lembu Suro. King Brawijaya hesitated, as a father he
did not want to see her daughter grieve. But on the other hand, as a
king he must keep his promise to the Lembu Suro. And after thinking,
Brawijaya order his soldiers to seal the hole that has been created by
Lembu Suro with a stone. Warrior king agreed orders, and all the
soldiers deployed to seal the well hole with stones, forming a mountain
peak. Lembu Suro inside moaning for help. But the groaning Lembu Suro
was ignored by the king, princess and the soldiers. Until finally come
out of the Lembu Suro oath. That the king and Princess would receive
retribution for heinous acts. "Just wait a moment later times growing so

and Tulung Agung become GUNUNG", said Lembu Suro.
